For some time an image has been in my mind, because I felt so much love when reading the story of Maria Magdalena, washing the feet of Jesus. Would she have kissed him as well? I do think so, their love was so amazing and close to the heart, so special. She would have done that and in my imagination it probably looked like this. Every time I see this before me, I feel the love.

First there was the raw drawing, now I'm transferring the idea onto wood. Painting it is giving me the love that I feel while watching this painting grow beneath my hands.
